Fight recidivism and homelessness!
Today, we live in a world where recidivism and homelessness are growing fast in our communities. The founders of Ordinary People, NFP are fighting back!
Ordinary People, NFP is a faith based 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, based in Chicago, IL. The organization seeks to negate the impacts homelessness and recidivism has on the male population of troubled inner city areas, and to mitigate failure in men attempting to reach self-sufficiency once again. Ordinary People, NFP desires to make a large impact on the homeless population of troubled inner city areas by acquiring housing that will aid men that are homeless and being released from incarceration transition back into society and reunited with their families.
The organization seeks to cure recidivism and homelessness, but it needs the help of caring individuals like you. Ordinary People, NFP is on the front lines talking to victims of homelessness, securing their trust, providing various restoration services, and offering a way out of the vicious cycle of despair.
Our objectives:
•Teach residents their true identity as it is according to the Word of God.
•Break the cycle of homelessness, incarceration, substance abuse, and chronic poverty.
•Keep city streets clean and safe, which will improve quality of life and our communities.
•Empower program participants to secure and maintain full time employment and housing.
•Build businesses that generate funding resources to advance the Kingdom of God.
